This message shall serve as a formal warning, not a reminder.
The Central Ohio MABL received a direct warning from a field the league used last week due to continued violations of field rules, specifically seeds on the playing field, that every player in this league is already expected to know and follow. These rules are simple, yet they are still being ignored. That ends now.
No player is above the rules. No one.
Our ability to use these facilities depends entirely on full compliance from every player. When even one player disregards the rules, it jeopardizes the entire Central Ohio MABL.
Effective immediately, the following expectations are non‑negotiable:
NO SEEDS on any turf surface. Zero. Not in your back pocket, not in a cup, not in a bottle. No means NONE. PERIOD
NO metal cleats on turf. Period
Cleaning up all trash and personal items before leaving
Respecting restricted areas and posted signage
Following all instructions from field staff
Conducting yourselves professionally at all times
These rules for turf fields are mandatory requirements from every facility used by the league. Violations will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Every player signed a waiver that stated you agree to abide by league rules and policies. If these issues continue, consequences will follow. This may include fines, suspension, or expulsion from the league. Additionally, the league risks losing access to these fields entirely.
This is your warning. In the event you did not know, the expectation is CLEAR NOW, and the responsibility is on every player to uphold it.
