For Games at Berliner Sports Park:  All fields have turf infields.  Metal Cleats are not permitted.  No sunflower seeds, glass containers, vehicles, pets, open flames, flammable liguids, heaters of any kind, tobacco products, unapproved athletic equipment.  

Violation of any rules, regulations or park polcies may result in the forfeiture, fine or rejection of the use of field or fields.  Due to lack of fields, mother nature and the goal of completing the 2020 season, all players are to follow rules laid out for specific fields that teams played out.  Any player/team in violation of any rule may be suspended from games or the league especially if the violation costs the league use of fields.

The Central Ohio MABL held the HR Derby / Hitting Challenge at the all star game with nine players participating.  Rich Main (Pirates) won the event by hitting 3 Bombs and amazing 27 Points.  Rick Phillips (Bison) was 2nd with 3 Bombs and 21 Points.  Mason McGrew (Kings) finished 3rd with 1 Bomb and 16 Points.  

Congratulations to Rich Main of the Ohio Pirates, your 2020 HR Derby / Hitting Challenge Champion.

The National Division beats the American Division 12-7 in the Central Ohio MABL All-Star Game by scoring nine runs on nine hits in the 8th inning.  Down 7-3 in the top of the 8th inning, Tommy Harmon (Bison) playing in his 25th season, lead off the inning with a single to left.  Tommy completed the scoring after his second single of the inning drove in the final run for the National Division.  In between those two hits, the National Division had a hit parade: five singles, double, and a triple that completed the comeback.  HR Derby Champion, Rich Main (Pirates) pitched the last two innings to secure the National Division Victory.  Tommy Harmon was named MVP.

The Central Ohio MABL will host the 2020 HR Derby / Hitting Challenge prior to the All-Star Game.  The HR Derby / Hitting Challenge format will be each player gets 10 swings.  HR= 5 points, Waring Track= 3 Points, OF=1 Point.  For each HR hit, player gets an extra swing.  Player with most points wins the HR Derby / Hitting Challenge.
