Congratulations to the Ohio Blue Jays: The 2021 Central Ohio MABL Regular Season and American Division Champions.  The Blue Jays finished the 2021 season 18-3 and have secured the #1 seed for the playoffs.  An impressive eight-game improvement from 2020. 

In an effort to keep Teams / Players informed of Game Times and Fields, the playoff schedule will be updated on the site, but one played will be deleted as league stats do not count playoff stats. 

The 2021 Regular Season has come to a close.  The 2021 Playoffs will begin next Sunday, August 29, 2021 at area fields.  The final bracket will be released in 24 hours after the final field confirmations are made.  The league is awaiting one field confirmation (otherwise) will have to double up a field.  Grove City will host four games.  Coffman, Reynoldsburg, Gahanna and TBD will host one DH (12:00 / 2:30 PM).  If the TBD field does not come through, then one of the other fields will host four games and so teams/players should plan and be prepared to play a DH next Sunday at 9:30 / 12:00 , 12:00 / 2:30, or 3:00 / 5:30 PM. 

Teams need to enter the final stats and team managers need to email to the league the following information: Team MVP, Defensive MVP and Team T-Shirt Sizes.  This needs to be done no later than this week, but really in the next few days.

The National Division All Stars defeated the American Division All Stars 9 to 5 in the mid summber classic held at Don Edwards Park.  The National All Stars erupted in the 4th inning scoring eight runs on seven hits.  Michael Greene of the Columbus Brewers was named game MVP for his 3-4 performance.

The Central Ohio MABL will host the 2021 HR Derby / Hitting Challenge prior to the All-Star Game on August 21, 2021.  The HR Derby / Hitting Challenge format will be each player gets 10 swings.  HR= 5 points, Warning Track= 3 Points, OF=1 Point.  For each HR hit, player gets an extra swing.  Player with most points wins the HR Derby / Hitting Challenge.

The Central Ohio MABL retained the 2021 Presidents Cup with a record of 19-8 vs. teams of the Columbus MSBL.  Congratulations to the teams of the Central Ohio MABL.



The 2021 Central Ohio MABL All Star Game has been rescheduled for August 21, 2021 at Don Edwards Park. 

Although there are a couple of games left to be played in the 2021 Cup, after games played today, the Central Ohio MABL will retain the Cup in 2021.  Central Ohio MABL Teams went a combined 8-4 in games that have been posted final.

The Expos game was canceled, as the MSBL team they were to play, did not have enough players to field a team due to COVID-19. 

In accordance with League Rules, a notice of protest has been filed by the Columbus Coyotes.  A committee will be assembled (via email) to hear the protest within 10 Days and a decision shall be rendered within seven days after hearing. (Updated August 10: The committee voted unanimous to grant win by forfeit.)
