THIS IS NOT COVERED WITHIN LEAGUE RULES (and had not been an issue UNTIL this past weekend- AGAIN- after this email was sent originally).  I thought it was obvious , but maybe it's not obvious and a league rule needs adopted or banned outright):

MUSIC-  Music by teams before/after games and in between innings adds to the game experience for players and fans (without it, just makes the time in between the play of a game bland/dry).  The league does not want to ban or restrict teams from playing Music, but common sense has to prevail as to what is appropriate to play and at what volume the music is played at.  I am a fan of most music but certain lyrics are not acceptable in this setting.  Teams and players need to remember the league uses High School Facilities to play games.  In addition to the families and friends supporting league teams, there are other persons from the community who might be watching/listening at these facilities (especially now that school is back in session) or using other portions of the HS facility.  Playing explicit and loud music brings unwanted attention to you, your team and the league.   Explicit lyrics are not played in a public setting such as high school stadiums, college stadiums or professional stadiums-  They should not be played at a Sunday (or Saturday, Game 3) Central Ohio MABL game.   If you have to ask if a song is acceptable, it is NOT.  Clean it up! While on the subject of explicit lyrics, players need to clean up their language for the same reasons as listed above.  I do not want to have the umpires police the music and player language, but if you as the manager can not police your team for music or language, Umpires will monitor and police it (if necessary) and they are not required to issue any warning before ejecting a player or manager.
THIS IS THE LAST WARNING TO TEAMS:  DO NOT PLAY MUSIC WITH EXPLICIT LYRICS, DO NOT PLAY MUSIC AT VOLUME HIGHER THAN WHAT THE AVERAGE PERSON WOULD THINK REASONABLE, AND DO NOT MAKE YOUR MUSIC VS THE OTHER TEAM A "BATTLE OF THE BANDS".  The last time I checked, it was a baseball game-  If this continues to be a problem, MUSIC will be banned from the remaining 2025 games.
Not every team is an offender, but need to warn every team.  This email was sent to every player within the Central Ohio MABL.
If both teams have music, then as a suggested compromise, the team at-bat plays music, but be an adult about it-  Not children as was reported last week-
