The League Schedule has been updated as fields have been located for Sunday, June 2. Rainouts have been re-scheduled and added to the team schedules (although some show fields as TBD).
An early morning storm blew through Central Ohio bringing a lot of rain in a short amount of time that wound up causing another week of cancellations.
With an overnight storm Saturday into Sunday, Mother Nature attempted to rain out the Central Ohio MABL for the 3rd straight week, but the baseball gods won the day as it was opening day for most teams. All teams got their DH in on Sunday:
Bison sweep Pirates 10-6 / 14-2
Kings sweep Mariners 19-3 / 12-0
Bearcats sweep Latins 9-3 / 7-1
Tigers sweep Rockies 14-1 / 26-0
Cudas sweep Red Sox 17-0 / 4-2
Expos sweep Coyotes 10-0 / 15-3
Mother Nature is on a roll claiming 11 of 12 games of the 2019 Central Ohio MABL schedule. The weather (rain) hit Saturday night and canceled Coffman and Gahanna early. Westerville Central tried to get the 3:30 PM game in, but MN persisted and the game never got underway.
The Central Ohio MABL will try again on Sunday, May 19, 2019 with teams scheduled to play the first doubleheader of the year. The forecast is not looking good for Sunday
Mother Nature has won five games vs. the Central Ohio MABL on the 24th Opening Day of the League. The weather (rain) for the last 60 hours (on/off) has created unplayable fields mostly due to the grass areas being saturdated with water with same cases of the fields becoming small ponds/lakes.
The Bearcats / Pirates game scheduled for 3:30 PM at Dublin Coffman HS is the only game scheduled to be played today. Good Luck to the Bearcats under a new manager and to the Pirates who are a new team in the league.
