The 2019 Regular Season came to a close with a light schedule on Sunday, August 25, 2019. Playoff seeds are set- The Tigers and Barracudas are the respective one seeds, while the Kings and Expos secured the 2 seeds in each division. The one and two seeds earn a first round playoff bye and will be off until Sunday, September 8, 2019.
The playoffs will begin on Sunday, September 1, 2019 with Game 1 / Game 2 (two seven inning games at four sites). It is anticipated that all sites will be scheduled for a noon Game 1 first pitch (but need to make final field / umpire confirmation (of time).
If necessary, Game 3 (one nine inning game) will be played on Saturday, September 8, 2019 at location/time TBD.

After a several year hiatus of the Central Ohio MABL All Star Game, the National Division All Stars won the re-boot of the game over the American Division 5-1. The game was played under the lights at Don Edwards Park in Newark.
The Dublin Pirates, Jacob Chrysler, got the start for the National Division and pitched 5 strong innings for the Win (0R, 3H, 2BB, 7K). Chrysler also went 1-1 at the plate (H, R, RBI, BB) and was named MVP for the 2019 Central Ohio MABL All Star Game.
The 2019 All Star game will be held at Don Edwards Park (Newark) tonight at 7:30 PM. The National Division will take on the American Division in the renewed all star game.
The all star game will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Don Edwards Park (Newark) at 7:30 PM. Gates will open at 5:00 PM. Concession stand will be open. Don Edwards will have PA Announcer w/full scoreboard. FIREWORKS will follow the game. 
Congratulations to the Teams of the Central Ohio MABL as they retain the 2019 President's Cup. In twenty four scheduled games, the Central Ohio MABL finished the 2019 Cup with a 19-4-1 record (20-4-1 counting annual all star game).
The President's Cup was created in 2015 in order to add competition between teams of the Central Ohio MABL and Columbus MSBL. Teams are matched up each year based on prior regular season record. In the five years of the Cup (111 games combined), the Central Ohio MABL has not lost the Cup sporting a record 66-42-3: .611 win %.

The Central Ohio MABL regained the All Star "belt" by defeating the Columbus MSBL 3-2 in the annual All Star Game at Huntington Ball Park. The pitching staff struck out 9, scattered 7 hits, allowed one BB and one HBP. Allen Ayers got the MABL on the board with an RBI triple scoring Thomas Joyce in the first inning. Ayers drove in a second run scoring Evan Nicholson on a fielders choice in the sixth inning. Chris Pope added the GW hit with a pinch hit RBI single in the seventh inning scoring Tyler Flaherty. Ayers was named game MVP for his 3B, SB and two RBI.
