The World Series of Euchre was introduced this year by James Halk, with a goal of giving back to his community and to honor his late dog Miracle who meant the world to him. The tournament is a fundraiser, with half the proceeds collected benefiting the Canine Collective, a no kill dog shelter here in Central Ohio who operates over 100% capacity at all times.
The World Series of Euchre's goal is to be the largest Euchre Championship in Central, Ohio. 64 teams will enter, with each team guaranteed to play 3 games. Teams consist of entrants and individual entries are expected to bring their own partner. 16 groups of 4 teams will be formed; each team in each group will play against each other. Top 2 teams in each group will qualify to the knockout round of 32.
Team entry fee is $50 per team($25 per player). Entries are first come first served until the field of 64 is filled. The winning team will take home a grand prize of $1200. Second place takes home $400. The other half of the entries will be donated to our charity, The Canine Collective.
Games (Group play) will begin at 1pm sharp. Food and drinks will be available for purchase at the event via food trucks and full bar.
Teams can register for the tournament as well as purchase tickets to The Battle of the Ages Base Ball Game by calling the tournament director (James Halk) at 380-242-0529. Teams are locked in once entry fee is paid via Paypal (tigerscomabl@gmail.com) or Venmo (@tigersCOMABL)
