The National Division All Stars batted around and used a six run 7th inning to defeat the American Division All Stars 9-4 in the 2023 Central Ohio MABL ASG.
The National team was mostly kept in check for the first six innings by the pitching of the American team (Beall, Blue Jays and Wheeler, Sr. Pioneers) until an error (2nd for the game by American) in the 7th that seemed give life to the National team. After the error, the National team went Sac Fly, RBI groundout, BB, BB, 3 Run 2B, RBI 1B to cap the six run inning.
Ryan Blessard (Ohio Phillies) was named ASG MVP for his 3-Run Double in the 7th inning to give the National team the lead and some insurance. In addition to the double and HBP, Blessard started on the Mound with a perfect first inning.
Outside of two innings, the Pitching staff of the National Team allowed four hits and two walks
