Presidents Cup: Week 1: July 28, 2024

As teams of the Central Ohio MABL begin Presidents Cup play against the Columbus MSBL teams this Sunday,  you are reminded of the following at all fields (as they are all turf) and remind your team of the following rules.  Any team not following these rules will be fined and banned from the field.  Any player found to be disregarding these rules, may be suspended or expelled from the league.  The league is not putting up with any player who can not follow simple instructions.  If you see another team/player violating one of these rules.. say something to them.   
NO METAL CLEATS
NO SEEDS- MEANS ZERO
NO TOBACCO
PICK UP TRASH AT CONCLUSION OF YOUR GAME- 
(Teams violating these rules will be fined and banned from field-  Do not be that team)
Central Ohio MABL Teams are the Home Team in all games this week- 
10 Run Rule after 7
3 Hour Time Limit (if game following) no new inning to begin after 3 hour-  last game of day play it out- 
If tied (and if time permits) runner placed on 2nd base to start extra inning(s)
One Courtesy Runner (designated prior to game) use (last batted out)
Run for pitcher or catcher with 2 outs- last batted out for speed up purposes
Ensure pace of play by getting on the field and off the field in between innings-
The Expectation of the Teams in the Central Ohio MABL is to Show Up, Shut Up and Play Baseball.  That does not include extra-curricular activity/comments with the other teams nor the Umpires-  Self Control and Sportsmanship=ZERO ISSUES at the BallPark.

2024 Central Ohio ASG Selections vs. Columbus MSBL

The following players have been selected to represent the Central Ohio MABL at the All Star game vs. the Columbus MSBL on Saturday, August 3, 2024  at Beavers Field.  First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 PM.  Players should arrive at or before 5:15 to check in.  The Central Ohio MABL will be located in the 3rd Base Dugout.

2024 Central Ohio MABL Playoffs

The 2024 playoff format was decided by a team manager vote.  In a landslide vote (9 to 1)
Championship Bracket
8 Teams
Best of 3, Sunday DH, Game 3 following Saturday if necessary
except a Game 3 of Championship following Sunday if necessary
Teams seeded 1-6 auto bid to bracket (Division winners seeded 1 and 2)
7 v 10: one 9 inning game: winner to Championship bracket / loser to play BoR Final (one game)
8 v 9: one 9 inning game: winner to Championship bracket / loser to play BoR Final (one game)
1 seed will play lowest seeded winner
2 seed will play other winner
3 seed v 6 seed
4 seed v 5 seed

Sunday, July 7, 2024 FIELD CHANGE

The two games scheduled for Dublin Coffman tomorrow, July 7, 2024 have been moved to New Albany HS (located at 5101 Swickard Woods Blvd off of Fodor Road) across from Plain Twp Aquatic Center (POOL).
