The Bandits defeated the Indians 5-1 to advance to the Championship game for the third straight year. The Bison defeated the Hurricanes and then beat the Indians in the nightcap to advance to the Championship game. The showdown will take place Saturday at 3PM at Beavers Field. Congratulations to the Bandits and the Bison.

The Central Ohio Reds will be traveling to Baltimore for a tournament on Oct 12-14, 2002. The cost is $35.00 for the tournament. There are only a few roster spots available. Please contact me at 614-791-BASE if you are interested.

The Fusion will play the Bison Saturday, September 28 at Centennial. Game Time is noon. In the 3:30 game, the Spitballers will face the Hurricanes in a round 1 rematch. The Indians will play the Bandits on Sunday, September 29 at Beavers Field. Game Time is 10:00 AM. For additional games remaining please look at brackets.

All Managers need to submit to Jamie Holdren via email, your team MVP, Sportsman of the Year Award, and also your vote for Manager of the Year. You must submit your votes to Holdren by the September 22, 2002. League T-shirts are forth-coming. If you need any questions answered contact Jamie Holdren. The following is a list of games scheduled for Saturday, Sept 7, 2002.

Brewers vs. Spitballers 9:00 AM @ New Albany, Sharks vs. Renegades 3:30 PM @ OSU Newark, Fusion vs. Catfish 12:00 PM @ Centennial, Aardvarks vs. Indians 3:30 PM @ Centennial. The winners of the above games will play again on Sunday September 8, 2002 against the top four teams. The losers will come back on Saturday the 14, 2002 for there second game. I hope to have the full bracket on-line shortly. The bracket will be sent via email to the manager\'s.

Congratulations to the Central Ohio Reds, who finished 2nd in the Central Ohio Labor Day Tournament. The Reds lost to the Dayton Woodpeckers in the title game after an exhausting battle against the Indianapolis White Sox.

The bracket for the tournament will be sent to the managers on Tuesday, September 3, 2002. The tourney will start this Saturday.
