Pitching was the theme, with Brian Hines, John Thomas, Adam Abraham, Doug Bringman, Justin Hawksworth, and Dan Dietrich combining to strikeout 17 and allow only 2 runs on six hits. The offense was led by Matt Johnson (2-2, 2B 3 RBI, 2 R, 2 BB), Aaron Hall (2-2, 2 Sac, 2 RBI, 1 R, SB), Bryan Wakefield (2-4, 2B, 2 R, Justin Wagnor (2-3, RBI, 2 R, SB), Trent Spellman (2-4, RBI), Ryan Noward (2-4, 2B, 2 R, BB).
