The Central Ohio MABL will host it's annual All Star game on Saturday, July 25, 2009 at 1:30 PM. This year's event will be held at Thomas Worthington High School. The league will again host the HR Derby prior to the All Star game. The manager for the Stripes Conference will be Doug Schart Jr. and manager for the Stars Conference will be Erik James Standings as of July 6 determined # of players from each team- 1st- 5 Titans/Red Devilz 2nd- 4 Bobcats/Barracudas 3rd- 3 Knights/Rampage 4th- 3 Colt 45's/Express 5th- 2 Renegades/Bison 6th- 2 Bears/Privateers 7th- 1 Wildcats/Cubs The league will again host the HR Derby. The HR Derby will begin no later than 11:00 AM. All participants should arrive in enough time to check in and get loose in order to compete. Rules of the HR Derby- $10.00 entry fee (to be paid at the field) ½ pot to HR Derby Champion- ½ pot to Charity Must have hit at least one (1) Homerun during the 2009 season Participant must provide pitcher, bat, helmet (Helmet must be worn by participant) All participants must be at HR Derby prior to start of HR Derby and must help shag baseballs Player must register via email with the HR Derby Coordinator Erik James erikrjames@hotmail.com no later than 12:00 PM (Noon) on Thursday, July 23, 2009. Based on the number of participants the HR Derby Coordinator will determine the HR Derby format and order of HR Derby participants.
